As part of a month long 2015 residency at Krowswork, I covered the glass doors in black cloth, placed three texts dealing with Afropessimism and necropolitics right outside: “Considering appearance, disappearance, and interiority, the doors of Krowswork were completely covered and closed for the duration of gallery hours and the resident was inside reading.”
